Menhir was a group project, my part was compositing and supervision on set. The other members were:

Manuel Mayer - 3d Art & Concept
Philip Födermayr - 3d Art
Christian Knauseder - Actor

Combining the CG renderings with footage of the actor was one of my main tasks. The difficult part was that our actor used a polysterene ball in his hand, which was not easy to track - especially its rotation and the occluded parts took extra work. If we would pull off such a project again we would probably go for a more static camera and use a painted ball instead of creating the surface with cg in post.
